Malika Green is a New York City based artist and designer. Her passion is designing shoes. She aims to push the boundaries of what can be done with footwear, using traditional materials to make innovative designs. Shoes may be familiar, common objects, but she dreams of reshaping them into metaphors, shifting their identity and meaning. Malika Green teaches footwear design classes and maintains a studio practice, and holds a MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art.

She lives in Brooklyn with her husband, daughter, and cat.
